Here are the postcards that I have designed as part of my promotional material:

I wanted to create an information slip about the film and how it came into existance that would slot into the inside of the DVD case. Here it is:

I wanted the DVD cover to look like the book that attracts the Librarians attention in the film.
I scanned into Photoshop the book that I used in the animation for the background.
I wanted the writing and images that I used on the cover to look like gold embossing. I took the image that I was going to use of the Librarian and altered the threshhold of the image:
I could the select all of the black in the image and remove it:
This left me with just the outline of the image I wanted so I could select it and paint it gold:
Here is the final outcome:

I didn't want anything overcomplicated on the disc, just the title and an image.
I chose to use this design:
This is what it looks like on the disc:

I've been creating the DVD project in Encore and wanted a menu to appear on screen before the film itself plays.
This is what the menu will look like with a play button to start the film:

I started with two different ideas, one landscape and one portrait. I liked them both for different reasons, however the landscape images writing was really hard to read easily. I may turn that into a promotional postcard with the writing on the back but stick to the portrait image for the onesheet.
I then tried different images of the puppet:
And then photoshopped the bookcase into the background:
This was the outcome that I like the most so this is my final onesheet:
